About Us
Along with education,
group process and counseling, our social model approach
to recovery emphasizes the principles of AA’s twelve
step program; “More people are clean and sober today
as a result of AA’s twelve step program than all other
treatment methods combined” (Kessler 1997).
Our group focus and
peer oriented approach to recovery quickly help our
clients (who we refer to as residents) to get grounded
in recovery through the fellowship and camaraderie established
in a social model, home-like setting.

We offer a continuum of residential,
non-medical recovery services staffed 24 hours a day
in a safe, drug and alcohol free, home-like setting.
First we offer a 5 to 7 day social model Detox Program
(medical detox referrals are available if necessary).
Those who are a minimum of 72 hours
clean and sober may be admitted to our 30-day Primary
Recovery Program. This is a highly structured curriculum
of education, group process and one on one counseling.
While clients learn about the aspects and progression
of the disease of addiction, emphasis is placed on relapse
prevention by learning to recognize triggers to relapse,
developing new coping skills and alternative behavior.
Upon completion of the Primary Program,
residents may remain in our Support Program (maximum
60 days). In this phase residents are allowed to return
to work or begin job search. Required attendance to
groups and classes are available evenings and weekends.
We believe that the longer one remains
in a structured, drug and alcohol free environment with
the support of staff and peers, the better their chances
of maintaining long term recovery. the goal of this
phase of our program is to insure a smooth transition,
making sure that employment and suitable housing arrangements
are in place prior to discharge.
Group Sober Living is available by
referral upon completion of our program. Here residents
benefit from affordable housing in a supportive, drug
and alcohol free, recovery oriented environment (maximum
one year stay).
